This recipe is from 1974 and came from the Melrose Inn in Harwichport, MA.
The Melrose Inn was a traditional family favorite for so many families. Sadly, now it is
a condominium complex. You can read the history here from Wicked Local Harwich.
("wicked" - is a term of endearment for those from Massachusetts)
I was excited to find this recipe along with some of my mother's other recipes and would
like to share with those who are fond of Old Cape Cod dining.
